There’s iced tea—and then there’s cold brewed tea.
At Wild Orchard, we believe in slowing things down. In letting nature work its quiet magic. And when it comes to tea, cold brewing is a ritual that turns something simple into something extraordinary.
It’s about being patient. It’s about being intentional.
A Smoother, Sweeter Way to Sip
Unlike traditional iced tea that’s brewed hot and chilled down, cold brew tea is made by steeping tea leaves in cold or room-temperature water over several hours. This slow extraction method reveals the softer side of the tea leaf—producing a brew that’s:
- Silky smooth
- Naturally sweet
- Exceptionally flavorful
- Refreshingly low in bitterness and acidity
There’s no need for sweeteners or enhancements. Cold brewing lets the true character of the tea shine—especially when it’s grown the Wild Orchard way. In case you do wish to add to your cold brewed tea, you can add honey, agave, or your favorite sweetener maple syrup. If you're into adding some fruits, you can use citrus slices, whole berries, or cucumber slices for just a touch of fruit flavor.
Why Wild Orchard Teas Are Perfect for Cold Brew
Our teas are Regenerative Organic Certified ® and grown in full sun on Jeju Island, South Korea—free from artificial inputs and nurtured with care. This purity means that when you cold brew our green, oolong, or black teas, you’re tasting nothing but the essence of the leaf, the land, and the light.
Each variety brings something special:
- After Rain Green Tea – Clean, floral, and uplifting
- Black Matcha (shaken over ice) – Bold, roasted, and creamy when paired with milk
- Oolong Tea – Deep and fragrant, with a hint of stone fruit
- Sweet Sorbet or Rose Green Tea – Delicate, botanical blends made for warm days
How to Cold Brew Tea at Home
Cold brewing is as simple as it is satisfying.
- Add 1 tablespoon of loose leaf tea (or 1 tea sachet) per 12–16 oz of cold filtered water.
- Let it steep in the fridge for 6–12 hours, depending on desired strength.
- Strain (if needed), pour over ice, and enjoy.
You can even make large batches to keep in the fridge for the week.
A Different Kind of Refreshment
Cold brewed tea isn’t just a drink—it’s a practice in patience, purity, and presence. It invites you to taste the fullness of the leaf without rush, to savor the moment, and to nourish yourself with intention.
Once you go cold brew, there’s truly no going back.
