Some rituals are meant to be quiet. Some are meant to be bold. This one is both.
Our Iced Black Matcha Chocolate Elixir is a layered experience—earthy, chilled, and subtly indulgent. A celebration of contrast and depth, it brings together Wild Orchard Black Matcha and rich cacao in a cooling summer ritual that nourishes the body and awakens the senses.
Why Black Matcha?
Unlike green matcha, black matcha is made from roasted, full-sun tea leaves—never shaded, never stripped of their natural shape. Grown on our regenerative organic farm on Jeju Island, these leaves offer a bold, complex flavor that naturally evokes notes of chocolate, coffee, and earth.
It’s intense on its own, but when paired with cacao and served over ice, something remarkable happens: balance. Bitterness softens, richness opens up, and you’re left with a drink that’s quietly energizing and deeply grounding.
The Elixir Recipe
Here’s how to make your own Iced Black Matcha Chocolate Elixir:
Ingredients
- 1 tsp Wild Orchard Black Matcha
- 1/4 cup hot water (175°F / 80°C)
- 1/2 cup oat milk or whole milk
- 1 tsp unsweetened cacao powder
- Optional: 1–2 tsp maple syrup or honey
- Ice
Instructions
- In a small bowl, whisk black matcha with hot water until smooth.
- In a separate cup, stir together cacao powder and sweetener with a splash of warm milk to create a chocolate base.
- Fill a glass with ice.
- Pour in the chocolate base, then add milk.
- Top with black matcha. Watch the layers form, then stir gently before sipping.
A Ritual, Not a Rush
This elixir isn’t fast—it’s intentional. From the leaf to the cup, every part of the process invites you to slow down. The black matcha provides calm, focused energy—no jitters, no crash—while the cacao adds a silky richness and natural feel-good lift.
Whether you enjoy it as an afternoon reset or a weekend treat, this drink becomes more than refreshment. It’s a quiet rebellion against the rush. A ritual of earth, leaf, and cacao.
