Enjoy Summer with Our Tea-Based Chilled Cocktails and Mocktails

Welcome, June—a gentle invitation into the warmth of summer. Longer days, slower mornings, and a renewed appreciation for cool sips under soft sunlight. It's also International Iced Tea Month, and here at Wild Orchard, we’re celebrating the season with refreshing, tea-based recipes designed for mindful enjoyment—whether you're winding down solo or hosting an open-air brunch.

This summer, elevate your glass with drinks that are as thoughtful as they are flavorful. Our teas—grown regeneratively on Jeju Island and crafted with care—bring balance, depth, and quiet complexity to every chilled pour.

Meet the Sunday Brunch Gin Cocktail (or Mocktail)

Inspired by sunny weekends and slow-living rituals, this recipe features our Sunday Brunch green tea—a lively yet delicate blend with notes of citrus and florals that shine beautifully when chilled. This drink can be served with or without gin, making it a light, adaptable addition to your summer rotation. Try any of your favorite botanical blend organic green teas, or our Spring Oolong organic loose leaf tea for another delicious variation.

Sunday Brunch Gin Cocktail (or Mocktail)

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup Brewed and chilled Wild Orchard Sunday Brunch organic green tea
  • 1 oz Fresh lemon juice
  • 2 Strawberries (or 2 tbsp berry juice)
  • ½ Tbsp (heaping) honey, or agave syrup (to taste)
  • 3 oz Gin (optional)
  • 2 oz Tonic water to top
  • Ice... plenty of ice for the hotter days
  • Fresh mint, raspberries, and/or lemon wheel for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Brew Wild Orchard Sunday Brunch Organic Green Tea (1 tsp per 8 oz water) and let it cool completely. Visit our Recipe blog to learn how to achieve The Perfect Hot Brew for detailed instructions.
  2. In a shaker or mixing glass, combine tea, lemon juice, honey/agave, and gin (if using).
  3. Shake or stir gently.
  4. Pour over ice in a tall glass.
  5. Top with sparkling water and garnish with a mint sprig and lemon wheel.
  6. Sip slowly—and enjoy the moment.

Mocktail Version: Simply omit the gin for an alcohol-free version that’s just as refreshing and complex.

Tips:

  • You can brew 1 serving of tea leaves 3-4 times.
  • All done hot brewing? Try cold brewing your tea—another calming (and quietly rewarding) way to practice patience.

Why Tea-Based Cocktails?

Using tea as a base brings natural flavor, body, and calm energy to any beverage. No artificial syrups, no overpowering spirits—just balanced botanicals and clean refreshment. Whether you're toasting to the season or simply hydrating with intention, tea-infused drinks offer a softer way to celebrate.
